Piano Lessons

Mackenzie had her first piano lesson this afternoon. She did a fantastic job and couldn't wait to get home to practice. Let's hope her enthusiasm continues. We now have a keyboard at home, however I already have plans to get rid of the dining room table to make room for the baby grand!

Mackenzie's Open House

Open House BINGO was a fun way to learn about Mackenzie's 1st grade classroom.

First Day of 1st Grade

Mackenzie started 1st Grade today. She has a FABULOUS teacher and had a wonderful first day. We are so thankful for all the wonderful friends/teachers who work at her school. They check up on her and make her feel comfortable throughout the day. THANKS friends!

Yes, Mason is wearing the pink goggles. We can't find any that fit other than Mackenzies' pair from last year. I'm sure he will appreciate this video when he is older!

Fun at School!

We attended Literacy Night at Mackenzie's school. She taught us how to play many of the games she plays during center time each day in class. Boy, these Kindergarteners sure work hard!!! Talk about early literacy, even Mason joined in on the activities. No one is ever too young to learn how to read and write!
